Durance of hate

Hatred makes us fall deep under the line of sanity, magnifies negativity, and controls us...

A detestable feeling indeed... Detestable yet so human...
I pictured the human being as a backbone -a symbol of flexibility and resistance... I painted it cracked and incoherent.
Attached from both sides to opposed whirlpools (symbol of instability and heavy strain), the backbone is forced to an uncomfortable pose symbolizing stress, illness and disorder...

The distribution of the plans composing this piece simulates the state of deep daze brought by hatred...
The color theme features the quite expected set of unsaturated green/pale yellow variations with a big share for shadows...
The whole thing was to picture the sad face of hatred that pushes towards depression more than violence as I treated the subject of violence in another piece...
